2nd Subhash Prerna Kendra initiated on 24th Nov.201 at SUR Memorial Public School, near Madhupuram on IIM Road.


There was lot of excitement and enthusiasm as the students of SUR Memorial Public School awaited the launch of 'Subhash Prerna Kendra', in their school , by the team from Pithvi Innovations, in th eloving memory of late Mr. Subhash Chandra Gupta, ex-Senior member of Prithvi Innovations and father of Mrs.Anuradha Gupta.

Along with Mrs.Savitri Gupta, Dr.Pankaj Kumar,inaugurated the small fun-n-learn activity centre named Subhash Prerna Kendra and shared some valuable inspiring incidents from Mr.Subhash Chandra Gupta's Life to motivate the students to make full use of the opportunities they get in life to become assertive and aspiring and compassionate citizens.

Lot of illustrative story books in Hindi and children's magazines,like Magic pot,Nandan, Balhansh,Champak,etc.. and board games and activities were shared with the students.

A computer donated by State bank of India,IIM Branch, on Prithvi innovations request was also inaugurated on the occasion and computer literacy classes were started for the students.Educational cds, dvds and otof interesting multi-media kits were shared by Suraj, team member from Prithvi.

The main aim of starting this centre was to provide an opportunity to students and near-by rural children and youth to become computer-literate and to acquaint and empower the teachers to adopt play-way method of education, so as to make the process of learning more enjoyable and impactful.
It also aimed to inculcate the habit of reading story-books in children and promote informal education like games,theatre,music,art,team-work etc, a very vital tool in over-all personality development of a child.

Mr.Brijesh , school Principal and the teachers were very happy to have this centre and promised to utilize it to provide better education to their students and also extend it to the other children living near the school in the evening.
